The VTFVM400 is a precision
three-axis fluxgate magnetometer used to measure DC magnetic fields
with a range of +/- 100,000 nT (1 Gauss) with the resolution of 1 nT
(0.01 mG). The VTFVM400 includes a four-line LCD display, selectable
component (Bx, By & Bz) or coordinate (polar & rectangular)
measurements, displayed in units of Tesla (T), microTesla (uT) or milliGauss
(mG). Sampled and recorded data can be uploaded through the RS232 serial
port (software supplied) to a computer and Excel worksheet. The VTFVM400
comes with a battery eliminator, so it can be powered by either the
internal 9 volt battery or commercial power.
